About the Author

Marty Strauss lives with his wife, Suzanne Del Sarto in Hendersonville, NC. He retired from the City of Sacramento after working in the solid waste industry for 30 years.

"Chagall, the Recycling Dragon" comes from his thirty years of working in the solid waste industry.

Marty Strauss has published two books. "Ice to Fire", is historical fiction about a South East Alaska Native fishing village, and "Tale of the Golden Whale" is the story of the search for mineral wealth off the North Coast of Alaska.

"Chagall, the Recycling Dragon" is his first children's book and joint effort with illustrator, Christie Reale of Boston Mass.
